2015 Townline Art Fair

What a great weekend! I couldnt have ordered better weather conditions for my annual ‘Fineline’ weekend. Once again, Anka took charge of the Rustic Road pumpkin patch. You probably didnt realize this requires an incredible amount of skill and effort. Therefore, Moms mid-morning coffee cake treat was promptly consumed after set-up and before the show opened. Anka also gave suggestions to other display areas she deemed unfitwhich pretty much included all the areas I set up.

Thanks to everyone that made the trip! It’s always nice to see so many familiar faces each year. I appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you next year.

Carving @ The Clearing

On August 16-22, I will be teaching my annual week of carving at The Clearing. Not everyone can take an entire week off from work or family to carve. But if you can, you will not regret it. Although there is room in the class, unfortunately there is no room at The Clearing this week. With 39 students and instructors in 4 classes, we’re packed. If you’re interested in this week-long carving class, keep an eye out for it in the 2016 Clearing Summer Program catalog.

Basswood Delivered

The 2015 shipment of basswood was delivered today! Thanks to Tim and the great folks at Heinecke Wood Products, my basswood supply has been restocked. If you need basswood to carve, you won’t find a better or more reasonable place to get it. Now, where am I going to find room to put it all!
